This lush video evokes thoughts of both nostalgia and transcendence. The time pointers indicate both forwards and backwards in time. However, the destination in both cases remains the same.
Dreams of flight and childlike innocence evoke a sense of freedom, a life without restraint. This desire for freedom located in both the past and future highlights the lack of freedom now, in the only time we have access to.
Because now becomes the only time that we truly experience, this escapist video focuses upon fantasy. Perhaps the most disturbing video locates current real time situations, documentary in many cases.
